Watkins Glen A tourist Town Are you looking for a great place to vacation this year? With the cost of gas why not go somewhere that is right in New York State. There are many things to do while in Watkins Glen. If you are a wine enthusiast there are a vast amount of winerys, Hazlitts, Glenora,Cascada just to name a few. Most of these wineries are within the view of the beautiful Seneca Lake. We have multiple camping grounds like the Watkins Glen State Park, a KOA camping ground, or camping right near the lake. If you are more of a private person there are many bed and breakfasts or cottages along the lake. Come during the first weekend of August and you could be here for the biggest Nascar race of the year-but book early to ensure a place to stay. We have the gorge which is a popular tourist attraction. There are many little shops within town and outside of town. So if you are looking for something different but within range of Watkins Glen NY take time to check out a beautiful place to vacation.
